Ross MacInnes Bio

Ross MacInnes is a retired police officer, with over 40 years working with leaders in business, industry, government and the military. He was trained under the RCMP Musical Ride's demanding protocols, is a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans Association, and has served on numerous Boards of Directors, including the Alberta Equestrian Federation, and governmental committees.
He is recognized as an “expert” not only in horse rehabilitation and retraining, but in the application of horses for leadership training and personal development. He is the recipient of the Governor Generals Medal and the Queens Jubilee Medal for his work. He is the author of several books including The Other Side of Here that explains his philosophy. Ross and his wife Dee run Higher Trails Ranch in Okotoks, Alberta.
EAPD Coach is a 40 hour course that includes pre study material, class instruction, hands on exercises with horses, and final evaluation. The pre-study material will be sent to those registering for the EAPD Coach course and an exam will be held on the beginning of the course. The material is basic horse psychology, physiology and horse and human safety. The training will focus on individual, family and group EAPD. Not included is Corporate EAL, marketing, business
planning, or presentation skills.
